Food Fight brought together chefs, restaurants, and food lovers from across the South Shore for one incredible cause — supporting South Shore Food Bank and its mission to build a community empowered.

Hosted and supported by celebrity Chef Stephen Coe winner of Chopped and Beat Bobby Flay, the event welcomed more than 500 guests, 30 vendors, and 15 chefs for a high-energy culinary competition with a meaningful twist: participants “shopped” the Feed the Wey mobile pantry — stocked just as it would be for neighbors — to choose their ingredients and craft their dishes.

The bus, normally used to bring food access directly into local communities, served as a symbol of what’s possible when innovation meets collaboration.

Through its Food Rescue Program, South Shore Food Bank partners with local grocers to give high-quality surplus food a second chance — rescuing nearly 216,000 lbs in 2023, thanks in part to a $350,000 grant from the Gersner Foundation.

More than a food bank, SSFB is building a connected, collaborative network where waste becomes nourishment and every neighbor has enough.

We’re excited to share the launch of be; seen, a new film series we created with The be; community — a community and resource center building spaces and creating social events for adults with differing abilities and LGBTQIA+ individuals.

This series is about more than just stories. It’s about celebrating the people who make up the heart of be; and showing the world what it looks like when everyone has a place to be their whole self.

And who better to kick things off than Thomas? 🎥
Thomas brings humor, energy, and his one-of-a-kind personality to the screen — a perfect reminder of why this work matters.

We’re proud to partner with be; in telling these stories, and we can’t wait to share more from the series in the weeks ahead.

Watch Thomas’s story here and learn more about be; at be-community.org

Today we’re celebrating the recent launch of Feed the Wey — a mobile food pantry that takes dignity, choice, and access on the road. 🚐✨

Built in partnership with Weymouth Food Pantry and South Shore Food Bank , this mobile market isn’t just a bus. It’s a moving reminder that food access doesn’t have to be limited by walls or zip codes. It brings healthy, fresh options directly into neighborhoods, meeting people where they are with respect and care.

We’re proud to have played a role in helping tell this story, and even prouder to see how South Shore Food Bank is reimagining what a food pantry can be. This is food access with flexibility, equity, and humanity at the center.

Here’s to many miles ahead. 🥦💛

If you haven’t yet, check out South Shore Food Bank’s new website we worked to create with them. Not only are they doing incredible work revolutionizing the food pantry experience and logistical challenges, they’re also at the forefront of creating an immersive web experience that we think is the future of websites.

While social media is useful, creating a hub of your own content on your existing website helps cut out the noise that the social media platforms serve up. It makes it easier to share what you’re doing directly with the people who want to see it without distractions or negativity. We’re so excited to help grow SSFB’s platform and share their work in a revolutionary way that highlights their willingness to do things different!

We’re proud to introduce The Shelf Life—a storytelling platform that lifts up the voices of pantry guests, volunteers, and community leaders across the South Shore.

Because food is never just food. It’s connection, opportunity, and hope.

We don’t post on social media much. In the digital age, we really make a conscious effort to connect with people in the community beyond the screen; in their shops, cafes, events, and spaces.

But occasionally we do something worth memorializing in bytes and algorithms. This month, we were honored to be featured in West Bridgewater Living magazine for our work with some amazing local organizations that you should like, follow, and support.

Now more than ever, it’s important for us all to do what we can to support our local non-profits and cause-based organizations every way we can. Through our Firefly Project, we did exactly that. The Firefly Project is our commitment to donate or subsidize our creative work to organizations that are doing amazing things on the south shore.

This article isn’t about us; it’s about those organizations and THAT is worth posting about. We want to thank West Bridgewater Food Pantry, Inc., The be; community, and South Shore Food Bank for everything they do to make this human experience better for everyone. We are honored to be part of YOUR story. You are heroes, and today, we celebrate each of you. Thank you for giving us the honor, and privilege, to help share you with the world.

This past Sunday, we joined our community to celebrate the 2025 West Bridgewater River Walk hosted by the West Bridgewater Open Space Committee & Conservation Commission. The turnout was amazing and the Town of West Bridgewater really came together to celebrate. It was a honor to participate and capture the community coming together. A big thank you to the committee for all of their hard work and we're excited to share all the photos and video of the event in the coming days!

This is our back deck. For us, this photo captures exactly what we do. We take everyday moments in the spaces we all occupy daily and showcase them in a way that makes you pause and gaze in wonder.

When we say “ALL GOOD (LIVING) THINGS ARE WILD
AND FREE” this is what we mean. Creative and storytelling isn’t fabricating something to be compelling; it’s working with a creative partner that can highlight the moments that already exist in your business, and zooming IN.

Who wouldn’t be inspired waking up to this every morning? The Town of West Bridgewater has some of the most beautiful conservation land. The West Bridgewater Open Space Committee & Conservation Commission does an excellent job preserving historical land, as well as critical wildlife ecosystems.

This specific area has a protected turtle habitat (thanks to Stonebridge Homes, Inc.) and is home to deer, foxes, and rabbits. It's also a critical pollinator paradise thanks to the wide array of beautiful wildflowers.

I unabashedly joined a line of children to feed these beautiful alpacas. When it comes to animals, I just can't help myself - I must give them the pats.

Big thanks to Kave Rock Farm for bringing these majestic angels to the West Bridgewater River Walk - I was the giddy 5'11" adult eagerly waiting his turn.

Absolutely obsessed with this brand we discovered at the West Bridgewater Riverwalk. Lady Sunshine Coffee is a female-owned, bespoke coffee pop-up giving us all the positivity and retro feels! It's a totally unique experience, serving amazing coffee out of their 1984 Volkswagen Westfalia Vanagon. Be sure to give them a follow and get some great feels and some fresh brewed ☕
