Obviously these aren’t the best pictures, but I snapped these shortly after I got home with them. They were all still quite cold despite having the heat on full blast in my car on the way home. I didn’t want to take them out of the incubator just to get decent photos.

Now, they are all warm, they’ve started some antibiotics and eye meds. They are all still being tube fed round the clock, but two of them are starting to understand the concept of the bottle.

The little black one is still hanging in there and actually got up and walked around at the last feeding. I didn’t think he was going to last the car ride home with how terrible he looked and sounded. I’m happy they are all little fighters, and I will continue to fight with them.

We got this, tiny babies. I love you already. 😘

Went to the shelter for to do the adoption for Cheesy girl and look who followed me all the way home!!!

Their finder is currently doing everything he can to trap mama, so I’ll be doing everything I can to help these babies grow big and strong.

I love picking up fosters from my friends at the plaquemines shelter, because they know I am going to ask about mama, and they always have the right answer. If someone isn’t already actively trying to trap mama, I will do it myself.

We cannot foster our way out of this mess. When I see these faces I think of all the other babies that their mama will make if we don’t get to her in time, and that motivates me to push for TNR in my community. I hope it does the same for you 💜

Missing the crusty noodles already. The house is foster free, once again, and I hate it. Time to deep clean the nursery....

This afternoon I had the absolute pleasure of reuniting the little girl we’ve been lovingly calling “bag o bones” with her sisters. We even got to reunite them with their other sister, Seema, who’d been separated from the litter early on when she was declining.

I can genuinely say that when I packed Bones up to send her with I didn’t think I’d see her again. She left the morning that we lost Murphy 🖤 Seeing her again, looking so much better, makes my heart so so happy.

Now that she seems to be stable enough, we have decided to reunite all the fungus sisters so they can keep each other company while they kick the ringworm and get big and strong so they can go on to become someones best friends ☺️

For reference, the last pic is a photo of the first night I had her, and the video was taken the morning she left. So yes, she still looks rough, but she is clearly feeling better, and she’s got a whole lot of people rooting for her 🥰

Perfect sleepy little babies 😍

McMuffin, McNugget, and Big Mac are all doing great. They are still eating really well, gaining lots of weight, and clearly feeling much better. They are still sneezing which makes me sad, but they aren’t letting it get them down.

I’d just like to say thank you, again for all of your support and encouragement. You really have no idea how much it means to me and the babies 💕
