Stupidity of the highest order, allowing 16 and 17 year olds, who have virtually no fiscal responsibility and little knowledge of how government works – to cast crucial votes in local elections. We know this is a ploy by the NJEA to allow brainwashed kids to vote the way their teacher tell them too. -- which is always more school spending. And before long 16 and 17 year old kids will be voting in presidential elections, and county elections. Disaster. Bring the school board elections back to April and let everyone vote on them ... the NJEA will fight it, but it is a fight worth having

Momentum is building in some quarters to allow 16 and 17-year-olds to vote in school board and other local elections.

Glad to see that the Times and its writers are toning down the incendiary rhetoric on Trump and the presidential campaign. What a joke. Did anyone notice how quickly the liberal news outlets were to blame social media for the attempted assassination of Trump - but omitted themselves as a cause for political violence? Judge Aileen Cannon ruled that the entire case should be thrown out because the appointment of the special counsel who brought the case, Jack Smith, had violated the Constitution. Her decision is sure to be appealed.

Mr. Biden has been an admirable president. Under his leadership, the nation has prospered and begun to address a range of long-term challenges, and the wounds ripped open by Mr. Trump have begun to heal.
the editorial writers need to get out of their Manhattan cocoon.

The president’s inadequate performance in the debate made it clear he is not the man he was four years ago.

If he was ever elected he would bankrupt the state – which is pretty much what Murphy is trying to do.
We need a federal law prohibiting labor unions from donating to political candidates. Those aren’t donations they are bribes for votes.
Either outlaw the contributions or make it mandatory that every public contract be put up for a vote of the people via a referendum…

Very early on June 6, 1944, 18, 772 American soldiers landed in Normandy, France on beaches code named Omaha and Utah. British and other Allied troops hit the beaches named Sword & Juno.
In the pre-dawn darkness, anther 18,000 US paratroopers were dropped behind enemy lines. Back home, in small American towns and large ones, people filled churches and halls and factories to pray for their boys.
Of the 4,572 Allied soldiers killed on D-Day, 2,500 of them were Americans They fought to free Europe from one of the deadliest, most maniacal regimes in human history. We still commemorate June 6, 1944 because we cannot possibly ignore such bravery and sacrifice from our fellow Americans.
There is a certain politician who has been going around the past few years saying her wants to Make America Great Again. There is an army of his detractors who ridicule him and his followers by derisively asking, “when was America great.”
The answer is many times, but at no time was America greater than on June 6, 1944.

NJ lawmakers get dumber and dumber….As if there were not enough “Classes” under the progressive’s divisive political rubric, they want to create another class of aggrieved parties. People who are tall, or short or fat or skinny. The further disintegration of our society by divisive politics and manufactured “rights” -- identity politics run further amok.
More complaints from people who “feel” they were snubbed…. More money for lawyers who can now sue businesses that do not accommodate short people, fat people, skinny people. When does it end. When the fabric of society – already threadbare – is completely and forever torn?

New Jersey officials have approved two giant offshore wind projects slated for energy production by 2032 - but the plans could cost residents $1 billion each year.
The state's Board of Public Utilities (BPU) sold the plots to Leading Light Wind and Attentive Energy Two, which are set to produce around 3,740 megawatts of electricity combined over the 20-year life of the contracts.

Today Liberal WABC talk show host Anthony Weiner said Texas could not protect itself from illegal immigration by erecting razor wire etc. because it would be making immigration policy against restrictions of the US Constitution. How then can NY, NJ & other states declare themselves Sanctuary States for illegal immigrants. Aren't they making US policy to shield illegals from federal authority?
