SUNDAY, 8 OF MAY, 2022 at 4-6PM, upon their bed of BLOOD and THUNDER, knighted KING SLUDGEHAMMER of the Empire of RAMELOT and his WALKING MANDELA EFFECT, the WITCH DOCTOR NAIL, PhD. in METAL HEALTH, will take nine steps and COLLAPSE to meet their fate from the NORNS.
YOU ALL made this possible. If not for your INDOMITABLE FAITH in US, OUR CONCEPT, this great STATION and its even greater EXECUTIVE BOARD and ADVISORS to make our dream a reality, there would be no SLUDGEHAMMER and the NAIL. There would be no LEGION of DOOM.
The on-air room is a small, quiet place on a Sunday evening. Hard rock and heavy metal voices, massive as they may be, are often dwarfed by the songs of others. It makes our day to know that anybody tunes in to celebrate this unbridled plethora of hard musical talent with us each week. To be in the presence of so many candid souls with similar tastes, to know you're out there, never ceases to surprise and delight us. We were always so excited to bring you the classic hits of the lesser-known, and deep cuts from the bigger guys.
We're not much different from our audience. We're passionate fans just like you, introduced at a young age to this medium sitting in the back of the car listening to STONE TEMPLE PILOTS and OZZY OSBOURNE on 93.3 WMMR. When the TWIN MILL made it to broadcast in 2018, we wanted EVERYBODY we knew and loved on the airwaves with us in some shape or form. This was an opportunity for YOU, too.
You followed our journey right down to our LORE in the captions for our SPLENDIFEROUS PROMOS. YOU helped us build our WORLD of METAL, and you watched it GROW from wherever you could possibly tune it to 91.7 the CURVE or stream WCUR.ORG. Even for just a minute or two, YOU took time out of YOUR busy SUNDAY to support the station and join our production, and we were incredibly grateful to share this wonderful opportunity with YOU, the esteemed LISTENER. Every request, call-in, and shout-out, we meant in the fullest of sincerity.
What can be said of the FUTURE of the BROTHERS IRON? It's hard to say. There's a brave new world in front of us and there comes a time we each have to take a stab at it as individuals. But one thing's for certain: Don't bet on us being gone from entertainment forever. On the day there is no room in ASGARD... We will again walk the Earth.
