Years ago I came up with the idea for these awesome cabinets. These were a nice wormy maple with a walnut front frame. What I loved about these cabinets was the “puzzle piece” joinery that I created for them. The sides consisted of three planks with the two outer planks being longer than the middle, the top and bottom consisted of three planks with the middle being longer than the two outer. This made the cabinet fit together like a puzzle so to speak. With some additional internal bracing and fastening, these cabinets were like a solid block of wood. They turned out wonderful.

A completed Psalm. Classic American voiced with more gain on tap and tons of Blythe Bells and Whistles. A clean amplifier with the ability to get multiple flavors of grit, not just from the power amp but the preamp as well and at low volumes. FX loop. Dual bias adjustment that eliminates hum from possible mismatched tubes. The newest revision of our Saturation circuit which allows for a wide sweep of gain boost with the turn of a k**b, a high low switch that shifts the frequency boost, and a dual single mode. Not to mention built in reverb and tremolo.

I may have spent entirely too long on this amp. Complete rebuild of the overdrive channel, added filtering, new custom front face plate, and I built a new head enclosure for it.

The original circuitry of this amp is underwhelming. The lead channel was very bad. I rebuilt closer to Marshall specs with my own modifications. Originally had plate driven tone stack now converted to cathode follower. Marshall cold clipper. My mods include more gain from voltage divider adjustment and slight cathode value changes. Nothing crazy as I wanted to stay very close to British specs.

Reverb is a “one tube reverb”. I never really liked this style. But it’s cool that it’s included.
