"Hold Down the Hunter"
Tales of Perdition
Release Date: December 4th, 2025

Tales of Perdition are back with a brand new single. "Hold Down the Hunter".

With catchy single note guitar riffs and a bouncy syncopated verse, this song absolutely rips. Using the classic 'shaky cam' filming method, it helps accentuate the chaotic tone and tempo of the song as a whole. Singer Alea absolutely nails her performance with her signature sound and presence her vocals sit very well in the mix.

Overall the song sounds great, the video is pretty cool too. I saw Tales of Perdition at Coalition Fest when I was in London earlier this year. If you get the opportunity check them out for their high energy show, catchy riffs, and badass music overall.

Silent Theory was great last night!

All the other bands: Ovtlier, Major Moment, Blanks Peak, and Embers Rise were also fantastic!

Can't wait to get the interview with Silent Theory completed, Dakota and Bob were amazing, both on and off stage.

It's been quiet around here lately, but the voices are still talking.

Our very own Furious made his back across the pond a couple of weeks ago for Coalition Fest 2025 put on by the London Metal Coalition at Signature Brew Blackhorse Road!

He got some great photos of many of the bands, check those out over at B-Pro Photography.

He also filmed a couple of interviews while there that are currently in post-production and should be coming out soon!

Holy s**t.

Previously we heard about more drama between Brent and his former band mates in Mastodon

Today we share the news that Brent Hinds has passed away following a motorcycle accident in which he was struck on his motorcycle by an SUV that failed to yield. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

All of us here at VIMH send our condolences to the family and friends of Brent Hinds in the wake of this tragic loss.

Please watch out for motorcycles as you are traveling.
