Today is the 1st Wednesday of November. It's Bridge the G.A.P. day where our committed prayer warriors pray for God to guard the hearts and minds of those in our schools. Today, I personally prayed Psalm 1:1-3 over the two principals of the schools I pray for every month. I also delivered each of them one of our new Bridge the G.A.P. postcards to encourage them with that Scripture. I also left a Living Real magazine.

The first Wednesday of each month we pray for the school/district of choice, asking God to guard and protect the hearts, minds, and souls of students across our state. If you’d like to join us in this effort, please comment below with your school of choice and district. May those who are in Christ on our campuses shine bright so others will see Him and come to know Him by grace through faith. 🙏

So many thoughts begging to be penned about today (9/11) and yesterday with the assasination of Charlie Kirk. These two dates have a unique spiritual connection. Did 9/11 really jar us 24 years ago enough to shift us as a nation back to our Christian roots? No, it didn’t. The Church eventually went back to life as usual. We did not heed God’s warning. We didn’t repent or turn from our wicked ways. The 21st century so far has been the devil’s playground, but yesterday I believe something woke up deep inside our souls telling us to never go back to the way things were. To never be silenced. To proclaim Jesus Christ in the public square louder than ever before, and not to be ashamed or afraid. Oh God, we need You! 🙏

Our Story

Living Real Magazine hit the streets in the fall of 2009. It’s a bi-yearly, free publication distributed in and around the midlands of SC, as well as online. Since the beginning, our mission has been to challenge and encourage Believers along their faith journeys through the stories of real people “showing and telling” what real faith looks like with skin on it. As the magazine has grown, more and more people are finding out about it and asking how they can get a copy. Beginning in April 2018, subscriptions will be available for purchase on our website. You’ll never have to miss another issue, because you can have your personal copy sent to straight your home or office. Churches and organizations will also be able to purchase in bulk from the website as well. As God continues to expand LR’s borders, we will continue to bring you stories from near and far as we seek to impact the Kingdom for the glory of Jesus Christ.
