The Walker mansion was brighter than ever.
Golden chandeliers sparkled above polished white marble floors while guests celebrated billionaire Ethan Walker's son's sixth birthday.
Laughter filled the luxurious nursery.
Then everything changed.
The doors suddenly flew open.
A wounded stranger stumbled inside.
His black coat was soaked from the rain.
Blood stained his sleeve.
The guests gasped.
Security rushed forward.
"Stop right there!" one guard shouted.
But Ethan Walker raised his hand.
Because the stranger looked exactly like him.
The same eyes.
The same jawline.
The same voice.
The room fell silent.
Ethan stared in disbelief.
"Who are you?" he asked.
The stranger looked directly into his eyes.
"My name is Gabriel."
A crystal glass slipped from Ethan's mother's hand and shattered across the floor.
Everyone turned toward her.
Her face had gone completely pale.
Gabriel noticed.
A sad smile appeared on his lips.
"Thirty years later," he said quietly, "and you're still afraid of the truth."
Ethan looked at his mother.
"Mom... what is he talking about?"
She didn't answer.
Instead, she slowly stepped backward.
Gabriel reached into his coat and pulled out an old yellow envelope.
Inside was a faded photograph.
Ethan opened it.
His hands immediately began to shake.
The picture showed two identical newborn boys.
Not one.
Two.
"What is this?" Ethan whispered.
Gabriel looked toward Ethan's young son standing beside his mother.
Then he took a deep breath.
"The reason I came back isn't money."
The room held its breath.
Gabriel's eyes filled with emotion.
"I came back because your son deserves to know who his real grandfather is."
The photograph slipped from Ethan's fingers.
And his mother suddenly screamed.
