FROM PRIESTHOOD TO MARRIAGE: Former Catholic Priest Weds Kenyan Woman 🇰🇪❤️🇮🇹

A love story from Kenya is capturing attention around the world after Sandro Ferretto, a 55-year-old Italian former Catholic priest, married Sharon Jepng’ok, a Tugen woman from Baringo South. Ferretto was ordained through the Diocese of Padua in Italy and began missionary work in Kenya in 2008. He went on to serve communities in the Kasiela and Mochongoi areas of Baringo County for about 12 years. Reports say it was during his missionary years in the region that he met Sharon. After leaving active priestly ministry, Ferretto chose a new pathmarriage and family life. ❤️

On September 6, 2026, the couple celebrated their union at Seretion Village in Kasiela, Baringo South, through a traditional Koito ceremony, a Kalenjin marriage tradition involving the families, dowry discussions and blessings from elders. Relatives, community leaders and friends gathered to celebrate the couple. Their wedding has since attracted widespread attention online, with photos and videos of the former priest happily celebrating and dancing with his bride circulating across social media.

Jamaica’s own Usain Bolt has officially taken another big step in life! 💍❤️ During his 40th birthday celebration in Kingston, the legendary sprinter surprised his longtime partner, Kasi Bennett, by getting down on one knee and asking her to marry him.

In the emotional moment, Bolt told those gathered that they had been together for 14 years, during which they built a beautiful family and welcomed three children. Then, in front of family and friends, the world’s fastest man finally presented Kasi with a stunning diamond ring, and she said YES!
