A year ago, when I first started thinking about the power of family storytelling and history, I knew I wanted to create a podcast about it. Now, it's finally here -the first episode of The Story of a Life Podcast drops tomorrow morning!

This episode is called Introductions. I'll fill you in a little on my background, and what led me to this new venture. Plus, we'll hear from some of the folks who have already been interviewed for TSOAL.

My grandparents had a candlestick phone in their kitchen. It was proudly displayed on a cabinet right next to my grandfather's chair. My cousins and I were fascinated by it, and played with it all the time.

Here is a picture of the actual phone. My mother has it now. She recently told me how my grandparents procured the candlestick phone.
