New York International Film Festival Winning short film, The Beautiful Wind. The success of the film garnered
Mirmont world-wide acclaim and named the young Director/Producer “Filmmaker to Watch” by
Digital Filmmaker Magazine UK. The film launched a number of other projects under the Mirmont Media banner, including the
Utah Film Critic’s Choice Award-Winning short, “Western”, before launching their live-action feature-film
division, Mirmont Pictures in 2009. Under the new banner, Mirmont has produced two feature films, including the theatrically released Sean Astin
picture, “The Freemason” (2014), and the dramatic-thriller, “Blue Door” (2011). ”The Freemason” received
the Best Director & Best Picture Nominiations at the 3rd Annual Filmed in Utah Awards and was recognized
as “Up & Coming Filmmaker” in a two-page spread in the fall issue of the acclaimed industry magazine,
P3 Update. Throughout the years, both Mirmont Media nad Mirmont Pictures have been proactive in developing projects
