I did an autograph show with YANCY BUTLER in 2011 in Burbank, CA. SALLY KIRKLAND was right across the aisle from us and over the two day event, we spoke frequently. Sally was lovely and generous with her fans and with me. Sad to hear of her passing. Rest well, SALLY KIRKLAND, and thank you for some wonderful memories. ❤❤

Celebrating the life, career and birthday of ANGIE DICKINSON, who turned 94 yesterday! I have known Angie since 1987 and we have been friends ever since. I began working for the GEORGE & IRA GERSHWIN ESTATE out of Ira & Lee's Roxbury Drive home in Beverly Hills. Angie and Lee Gershwin were best friends and I was introduced to Angie my first week there. When I said to her "It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Dickinson" and she said "Oh, please, call me Angie!" I knew we would become friends. After Lee's passing, I began my Fan Mail service, Tom Monjack Celebrity Enterprises, in January 1992. Angie was extremely helpful to me. Although she had a full time assistant and didn't need to use my service, she said to tell people she WAS my client. As everyone in the business knew Angie, her generosity opened many doors for me. When her assistant retired a few years later, Angie did become my client and I handled her fan mail (and, boy, did she get fan mail!) for over 20 years until she decided to stop responding to fans in 2019. After 60+ years, she deserved a rest!

I didn't call Angie or post a Happy Birthday message here on FB yesterday. Every year when I would call Angie on her birthday, she would tell me she didn't like making a big fuss about her birthday. I then began the tradition of calling her the day AFTER her birthday to send my love and hopes that she enjoyed her special day. I just called her at home and now, here is my Happy Birthday wishes to ANGIE DICKINSON, a very special woman in my life and a friend I truly treasure.

I was so sad to hear that my former client, the beautiful PAT CROWLEY, passed away on Sunday at her home in Bel Air at the age of 91. What a wonderful and generous woman she was. You know Pat from PLEASE DON'T EAT THE DAISIES in the 60s, as Emily Falmouth on DYNASTY in the 80s and starring in the General Hospital spin-off PORT CHARLES in the 90s and early 2000s. When I began handling her fan mail, she was so pleased that she went around to all of the actors on the show and told them "You MUST use Tom!" and I ultimately handled the fan mail for most of the cast. I've spent many afternoons at Pat's stunning home in Bel Air, and I had lunch with Pat at her beautiful desert home here in La Quinta. Rest well, Pat, and thank you for so many wonderful memories! ❤❤

To commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the classic film SUNSET BOULEVARD, which was rereleased in theaters last weekend in a new 4-K print, CBS SUNDAY MORNING did a 10 minute piece on this morning's show which included an interview with my client NANCY OLSON, now 97 years old and the only surviving star of the film.
