Synopsis
When Kara spots fifteen year old, Marisol, being treated badly by her class-mates, she befriends her and seduces her with gifts and a party invite. However the unexpected happens when Marisol seeing her inner pain gives her a gift that taps into her lost faith and former sense of self. She betrays Marisol in the most horrific way but as we are about to judge Kara, we are shown the darkness of the world that Kara herself is trapped into. We witness her struggle as the memory of her former self returns and she has to make some hard decisions to break the cycle of abuse.

Rough Diamond founder, producer/director Julia Verdin will speak on Friday, May 26, 2016 at 1PM on “CREATING AWARENESS ON SOCIAL ISSUES THROUGH FILM ” for World Bank and USC Annenberg Summer Institute’s “Executive Education” panel designed for leaders, strategists and advisors.

The series of courses will be taught by leading experts from the World Bank Group, External and Corporate Relations (ECR), Operational Communications unit; the World Bank’s Leadership, Learning and Innovation Group (LLI); the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California; and the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania.

Alex, whilst drunk driving, sees his friend and co worker Jeff throw a man off of a bridge. But he can’t be sure of what he’s seen and whether it was a murder. He has to know but he can’t just accuse his friend outright. Alex must investigate even though it could cause his friend to go to jail. LEAD
