How to Prepare for Your Zoom Lessons
In this video I will show you the steps you need to take to prepare for your voice lessons over Zoom.

Online singing lessons can be an amazing and convenient way to have a quality singing lesson. But there are some steps you wanna take to prepare so that you can get the most out of your singing lessons.
If you follow these steps before your first lesson, you will avoid unnecessary frustration and tech problems as you go into paid lesson time.
HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
While Zoom is my preferred platform for doing online singing lessons, there are two important parts to complete before having your first singing lesson: prepare your equipment setup, and adjust your sound settings.
Preparing for online lessons is pretty simple, but there are some essential pieces of equipment that you need for quality online lessons. There are also some things that can be very helpful as well. We will go over what you need to prepare for your lessons.
The other important thing to know about Zoom is how to adjust your sound settings. Most online communication platforms have noise suppression filters that can be helpful for most meetings and calls, but make singing and music lessons online terrible. Knowing how to adjust your sound settings, and turning on the original sound for EVERY LESSON is vitally important for quality lessons.
And finally, we will over over some additional tips to help you make the most out of your online singing lessons.
