Went to water the veggie patch yesterday and rustled a few leaves…

…and there she was. 🎃

A giant pumpkin, quietly growing all summer, completely hidden until I happened to uncover her- a beautiful volunteer from last year.

Honestly, it felt a little like Cinderella discovering the pumpkin carriage. ✨

A gentle reminder that not everything beautiful blooms out loud.

Some things are growing quietly, beneath the leaves, becoming something wonderful long before anyone gets to see them. 💙

I think one of the things I’ve wanted most in life is to feel truly seen.

Not admired. Not complimented. Not included because it’s convenient.

Seen.

Seen for the heart behind what I create. Seen for how much I care. Seen for how hard I try. Seen for the person underneath all the pretty pictures and polished things.

And maybe that’s why being overlooked has sometimes hurt me more than I wish it did.

I’m learning that someone failing to see me doesn’t make me invisible.

And someone not choosing me doesn’t mean I wasn’t worthy of choosing.

Sometimes the most important person I need to be seen by is myself.

Still working on that one…anyone else?
