Recently had some success on a tough day with DICE… BOMBS… whatever you want to call them.

Curious to know what terminal and rigging technique people are using. I was just using a 2/0 Gamakatsu finesse hook simply run through the body. Pretty much like a wacky rig. The dice ended up sliding up the line on both fish. A few casts later I bounced it off a wall and it was gone. This ended up happening again as well. A hitchhiker will be tried next to better secure the hook. Anyone have any tips?

First Saint Joseph River for the first time today. This river is very different than my home waters back down in central Indiana. Not sure if the Fisher in a funk or not, but they were not as active as I thought they would be. Looking forward to exploring this river a little bit more.

Great day on the water before the great flood…

Went 21 for 30. A couple in the 14-15 range. Most were 12-13. Fish were gorging on small shad or minnows. It was a freaking Buffett. Probably could be a 100 fish day. Ploppers, buzzbaits, flukes, chatterbaits and flukes. The fluke put the most in the boat. Biggest on the buzzbait. Hope you’re catching! STAY FISHY!

My first Boston Bass! Blessed to catch a bass in Massachusetts. Had a smallie on and spit the hook. Going back out tomorrow. New state added to the catch map. The goal is to catch a bass in every state!

16 hours on a body of water in Summer will teach you a lot of things! 1. Bring more water. 2. Bring more batteries. 3. Don’t assume the fish will be where you think they will be! 4. Never fish a river without 5. Always be grateful for the blessings in your life! Today I got to spend a day on the water with some totally awesome friends and I even landed a new 19.75” River PB. She was mad as hell and more like 19 15/16”. So damn close to that 20”. Ah, it’s all good, it will come in due time. Thanks and Tyler for a great day on the water and even better company. I hope y’all are catching!
