Autumn Lights Festival Autumn Lights Festival is one of North Jersey's Largest Festivals Located in West Milford, NJ With about 25,000+ 'ALFers' that visit throughout the day!

The Autumn Lights Festival first started 26 years ago as a celebration to West Milford for getting its first traffic light! In the beginning it was just the town gathering on the lawn of Town Hall. Today it has grown to a street fair that has over 300 vendors, live music, child activities, games and rides. Come celebrate this year as we come out of the Covid-19 era bigger and better!

Greetings, ALF'ers! We wanted to publish this update before plans start being made.

We have spent the months since ALF 2024 working out numerous logistical issues with Ringwood State Park, who facilitates Jungle Habitat. Autumn Lights Festival, Inc. and Festival Works, along with the Township of West Milford, have been in extensive discussions and negotiations with the State Parks Service and will continue to work towards bringing this event back to the community in the future. As these discussions are ongoing and will not be resolved in time to prepare for the 2025 Autumn Lights Festival, the event must be postponed until 2026.

While this is not the outcome we hoped for this year, we would rather produce a festival worthy of the ALF tradition at a location that can accommodate the tens of thousands of ALF'ers from West Milford and surrounding communities who travel from near and far to enjoy the live entertainment, vendors, civic groups, activities, and attractions this festival offers.

ALF, Inc. and Festival Works remain steadfast in our commitment to bringing high level events and attractions to the greater West Milford area. With some extra time to plan, organize, and work out key details, we can look forward to 2026 with renewed festivities in the ALF tradition.

Autumn Lights Festival 2025 is back and better than ever before!

On behalf of the entire team at Autumn Lights Festival, Inc. and our production team at Festival Works, we would like to extend our sincerest appreciation to all of the staff, vendors, sponsors, performers, and attendees who made the 30th anniversary celebration of ALF such a memorable event. While the weather did not cooperate as well as we would have hoped, we were still able to deliver an incredible festival for West Milford and the surrounding communities.

Special thanks go out to Michele Dale Mayor of West Milford Township, the Township Council, Township Administrator Bill Senande, West Milford Recreation Director Dan Kochakji, DPW Director Jay Casbarro, West Milford Police Department Shannon Somerville and their staff for all their assistance. We thank the NJ State Parks staff and State Parks Police as well as Campy’s Blue Star Amusements, West Milford First Aid Squad and the Passaic County Sheriff's Office for being an integral part of the event.

Thank you to the volunteers from the West Milford Elks Lodge #2236, VFW Post 7198 West Milford, NJ, American Legion Post 289, Friends of Wallisch Homestead, West Milford Chamber of Commerce, and the community at-large for assisting us with the event. Your efforts were critical to making this festival happen.

Special thanks go out to the incredible musicians and dancers who graced our stages. Eric Paslay and Creed Fisher were outstanding and had such kind words for the hospitality and support showed to them by our West Milford residents.

Our staff was incredible and deserves our applause for working harder than ever before while navigating the challenges that come with learning a new location and format for the event.

Most of all, THANK YOU, WEST MILFORD! We cannot wait to bring this event back in 2025 for another year of community celebration. Mark your calendars for September 26-28, 2025!

🚨ALFERS- We want to address some questions from the past 2 days.

✅Parking Passes:

If you purchased a parking pass for Friday or Saturday, it will be honored tomorrow (Sunday) if it was not already scanned.

✅Carnival Tickets

If you purchased tickets Campy’s Carnival rides yesterday that were not used due to weather closure- rides will be open and they will be honored tomorrow. If you cannot make it, they will be honored for up to a year at any of Campy’s Carnival locations.
