PopStroke, the putting-and-dining concept backed by Tiger Woods, is opening its most elaborate venue ever this December on Orlando's International Drive.

The $9.5 million flagship will bring two custom 18-hole courses, a river system threading the property, 13-foot waterfalls, and a cave where guests putt past a tank of six live sharks and stingrays.

Situated directly on the Intracoastal Waterway and enveloped in tranquil tropical gardens, the Mandarin Oriental Residences, West Palm Beach introduces a new era of refined waterfront living to the North End.

This specific neighborhood has watched the price per square foot climb 107% since early 2020, with OLIN, the firm behind Bryant Park, redesigning nearby Currie Park and billions in private investment moving through West Palm Beach.

Two of Miami and West Palm Beach’s most decorated chefs are joining forces for the first time. Niwa, a first-of-its-kind concept from APM Restaurant Group, is opening this October in the Flamingo Park District.

Niwa brings together Osaka-born sushi chef Masayuki Komatsu of Ogawa, now in its third year holding a star, with Cuban-born chef Osmel González of Emelina, the first Cuban restaurant in history to earn one, folding Latin flavor into Edomae technique with fish flown in directly from Tokyo’s Toyosu Market.

The 20-seat space runs a walnut and celadon-green palette will also have an outdoor tea garden, a genuine rarity in South Florida dining, running a tea program developed with Miami tea specialist JoJo Tea.

The Biohack Lab, the wellness social club making recovery and longevity approachable, has now grown to five locations across South Florida.

Founder Natacha Coles opened the Fort Lauderdale flagship in 2022, and the brand has since added Pembroke Pines, Coral Gables inside Equinox, Morningside, and its newest outpost inside Reserve Padel at SoLé Mia this past January.

The menu runs past 100 services, from hyperbaric oxygen and cryotherapy to peptides, red light, and infrared sauna, all run by licensed physicians and nurses under medical director Dr. Gregory Alfred. Point-based memberships work across every location, with day passes also available.

Bimini Tides might be the easiest island escape from South Florida, a marina-front townhome on the quiet southern edge of the Bahamas, where American Airlines’ new nonstop from Miami spends just 17 minutes in the air.

Mimi Yoga & Pilates recently opened its third and largest South Florida studio in Aventura, joining the brand’s Wynwood and Coconut Grove studios, and marking the biggest expansion yet for founder Mimi Ghandour.

Staying true to the signature look, blue ombre walls, polished teal concrete floors, illuminated arched mirrors, and that unmistakable rose scent, the studio holds up to 40 clients and runs a full schedule of heated yoga and Pilates, from power flows and vinyasa to Yogilates, Pilates Bootycamp, and traditional mat work, all built on the founding idea that yoga is “for the willing, not the flexible.”

The location also carries forward the studio’s no-filming policy that made national headlines last fall, keeping class a screen-free hour and protecting the privacy of everyone in the room.

A new automated driverless car system network has just been unveiled in West Palm Beach. Glydways, a California company that builds autonomous-vehicle networks, has pitched Palm Beach County on a fleet of self-driving cars running along a dedicated, partly elevated roadway connecting the airport to downtown, a roughly four-mile link it says could be running within five years.

Unlike a train, each vehicle would take passengers directly to their chosen stop, riding dedicated paths over or around traffic, with stations proposed at the convention center, CityPlace, the Brightline station, the county courthouse, the NORA District, and the Historic Northwest neighborhood. The company says the dedicated paths cost far less to build than rail, making them more practical as public infrastructure.

County commissioners are set to discuss whether to explore the project on July 7, days before the airport is renamed Donald J. Trump International Airport. Glydways is building similar airport systems in Atlanta and San Jose.
