Not just to celebrate this important staple for local acts, but to see some of our fave acts, such as , and our friends who will be gifting the county their amazing presence and incredible live performances. ♥️

28 years on, and over a decade since it's sign-off, WPBZ 103.1 The Buzz FM continues to have a dedicated impact on the South Florida community.

In our love letter to the seminal FM alternative station, we speak with some of it's former radio hosts on their experiences, as well as take a deeper look into the ripple effect it's absence has left.

While it's a surprise, we can say it's a bit of a local love letter and tribute to one of the greatest musical influences in Southern Florida that helped nurture generations under its wing.

Happy Saturday!!!
We know, it's been a bit.
This post is a little more personal, and a bit on the real-er side of things.

As you may or may not know, the Readable Noise team is a one woman show run by yours truly, J. DeGuzman.
I am the sole editor, writer, creator, photographer, promotional team, (breathes in deep), coordinator and project manager. And we often have guest collaboration as well, which we also love and are appreciative for every time.

I do this in addition to working a 7a-5p job, and in between it all, enjoy life as well.

The past year has been rough. I lost a parent, got a new job and a residence of my own, which in this economy, is not easy.
I've been trying to arrange projects, but I have quite honestly, been burning myself to a point of a shortening wick.

So, I'm making the right but difficult choice, which is to limit the amount of projects Readable Noise will be covering this year to a few choice selections.
We will be highlighting a few of our favorite artists for this year's return of Purehoney Magazine 's long awaited BUMBLEFEST 2022: Sept 2 & 3 (which we hope to see you ALL at ❤️), and have a few more on the back burner as well.

But I wanted to let you all know, while we may not be posting as much for the rest of 2022, we are watching 👀
Not like creepy old Saint Nick and doing it AS YOU SLEEP, but, you know, watching.

We also would like to remind you all to take care of yourselves as well. It's easy to overwork, overdo and get down to the nubs or bare bones in the busyness of it all.

Life is about the little moments, the big events and the people, places and events that make it good in the midst of the clouds. Take it all in, and put your well being first. ❤️

Not only do you have Thirst headlining a show with No Coffin , Pieced Up and TONIGHT (July 29th) to bestow some of the best metal sounds in the county and, dare we say, the state; but Saturday (July 30th) has quite the treat as well.
