Sunshine Center

Services and activities are directed to individuals age 60+. New participants are always welcome. Meal reservations are required by 1:00 p.m. the prior business day. Please indicate if your meal is “To Go” or will be enjoyed at the Center. Suggested meal contribution will remain $7.
May 29 – Un-Breaded Po***ck, or Meatballs, Scalloped Potatoes, Creamed Peas, Cinnamon Apples w/Carmel, Cucumber Dill Salad, Bread.
June 1 – Baked Ham, Baked Yams, French Style Green Beans, Rhubarb Cobbler, Rainbow Veg. Salad, Dinner Roll.
June 2 – Salisbury Steak, Mashed Potatoes w/gravy, Mixed Vegetables, Fresh Apple Slices, Cauliflower/Broccoli Salad, Bread.
June 3 – Lasagna, Lettuce Salad, 3 Bean Salad, Ambrosia, Garlic Bread.
June 4 – Broasted Chicken, Mashed Potatoes w/Gravy, Corn, Sweet Cherries, Cole slaw, Applesauce Cake, Dinner Roll.
Coming activities include Pitch games at 1 p.m. on Wednesday & Fridays. Tai Chi/Exercise class at 9 a.m. each Tuesday and Thursday. The pool table is available for use anytime during regular hours. On June 1 at 1 p.m., friends from St. Joe’s will be at the Center to play Bingo. June 2, blood pressure and blood sugar screening will be at 10 a.m. Foot care will begin at 1 p.m. with an appointment required. Phase 10 games begin at 12:30 on June 4.

Wednesday, June 3 - Ham balls, sweet potato casserole, California vegetables, mandarin oranges, biscuit
Thursday, June 4 - Liver & onions, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans w/ onion & bacon, mandarin orange salad, fruit bread

Sheepshead – Monday and Thursday at 1 p.m.
Cribbage – Tuesdays at 1 p.m.
Canasta – Monday, Wednesday, Thursday at 1 p.m.

Jigsaw Puzzle – Welcome all day
Blood Pressure check – Tuesday evening 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Toenail Clinic – 1st Tuesday of month 12:30 p.m.
Cook Out “Grillin on Main” 3rd Wednesday of month from April through October. The Wisner Senior Center has a food pantry available to anyone in need of some extra food items. If you would like to donate to the food pantry, give Kay a call. The number for the Wisner Senior Center is 402-529-3252.

Beemer Senior Center

The Beemer Senior Center is open to the public Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.; 3rd Tuesday of the month, open 8-10 a.m. & again 4-9 p.m.; 4th Monday of the month, open 8-10 a.m. & again 4-9 p.m. We offer exercise and walking and other games that are enjoyed by all.
Please come and join us.

Bancroft Senior Center

The Center is a great place for all kinds of resources as well as friendship, community and fun activities scheduled throughout the week and new faces are always welcome. Our hours of operation are Tuesday – Friday 8:30 a.m.-noon and 1 p.m.-4:30 p.m.
