The Walk to End Alzheimer's is this Saturday. I've walked in it for about four years now in honor of my mother Lucy, who passed away from this horrible disease after a long, difficult battle.
The first year I walked I was able to raise $2,500 thanks to some very generous friends and family members. The past couple of year I raised over $1,000, I believe.
This year I wanted to reach $2,500 again. Amazingly, thanks again to family, friends and colleagues, I have surpassed $3,800! I never thought that would be possible.
There's still time to donate. I'd be happy to carry the name of your lost loved one with me. Here's a link to my page: https://act.alz.org/site/TR/Walk?px=21370790&pg=personal&fr_id=18797&fbclid=IwY2xjawNTqxhleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETFSTkY5dk0wd3ZBZmhvWUk5AR5lLDpU2EQsZM1FhjyXdzrW4hKAjF3jUvBaeHINcpuKtFLJeK4stGeEUJCWgQ_aem_LDo6vqg3X6Ru0ARMn8T5sw
So what do you think? Can we reach $5,000? I guess nothing would surprise me at this point! Thank you for your support. It means a lot.
I am participating in Walk to End Alzheimer's. Donate today and help me reach my goal.
