The story of The Blue News is a slow steady climb. We never wanted a rocket ship to stardom. We wanted to turn a passion for writing, arranging, recording and performing music to turn into a self-sustaining financial endeavor. We already did that. There’s no secret to it. It’s just work, along with persistence, prayer and patience (the 3 Ps) applied to consistently over 22 years and never giving up. Songwriting is knowing it sucks and getting a bit better and knowing it still sucks and learning how to improve. Eventually you suck way less. Then you get comments like “hey that was good”. Then you approach creating greatness. What began as an idea became a shared goal, then that goal is reached, and you follow it with another goal and so on and on it goes. Some people say “why do it?” We keep going because sure, the work never ends… but neither will the music. 😎
