Celebrate!

RED, WHITE and BOOM July 4th Celebration. Plan to visit the Doddridge County Park for your July 4th Celebration. Food Vendors will be set-up beginning approx. 4:00PM. Vendors will include: The Pizza Box Ice Cream, Heavenly Hoagies, Papa's Belly and Crazed Lemonade.

What do you do to celebrate a win? Throw the coach in the pool, of course.
Doddridge Ducks won the overall and girls titles Thursday in a swim meet with the Buckhannon Splashers at the Doddridge County Park pool.

Wednesday's 7v7 with Parkersburg South has been canceled due to expected excessive heat. Doddridge County hasn't found anyone to replace South so it will be a regular evening of workout sessions.
Friday's DCHS Lineman Competition is still a go.

The Doddridge County High School Bulldogs opened its final week of June workouts Monday evening. Going to be a busy week, despite the expected high temperatures. Bulldogs are set to host Parkersburg South Wednesday in a 7v7 at 7 p.m. and then wrap things up Friday with the annual DCHS Lineman Competition, which begins at 5 p.m.

A big shout-out to Doddridge County junior Luke Rokisky on being named as a Class AA all-state second-team outfielder Tuesday by the West Virginia Sports Writers Association.
In addition, sophomores Brody Brockleman and Dayne Murphy represent the Bulldogs on the honorable mention list in baseball.

Doddridge County's Olivia See and her Region II teammates finished as runner-ups Thursday in the West Virginia Regional All Star Tournament in Buffalo.
The Region II team advanced to the championship with a 4-0 victory over the Region I all stars before falling 15-14 to Region III in a wild championship contest.

Congratulations to Doddridge County's Olivia See and Brooke DeHaven on being named First-Team All-State in Class AA softball.
Also, kudos to Isabella Holtz and Tessa Mayle on being selected as honorable mention selections!
