My father asked me if my brother or I could read a speech he wrote at his celebration of life ceremony. I said "how bout you read it." He looked at me quizzically, joking, "well you know I won't be in attendance..." I suggested we film it.
Over a few different sessions, we sat, cried and read through his speech.
This was the most difficult production I have ever been a part of. It's wonderful to be able to go back and see him still alive, sharing some of his favorite stories and introduces a playlist he put together of some of his favorite music.

For those who were unable to attend his celebration of life on what was to be his 74th birthday on 2/22/25, this is for you.
I'm grateful we had the time, and he had the energy and will, to put this together before he passed away.
