You didn't lose your discipline.
You never had any.
You had motivation, and motivation was always going to leave.
It's a mood. You built an entire plan on a mood and then blamed yourself when the mood ended
Everyone can start fired up. Day one proves nothing. The man you become is decided
somewhere around day nine, when it's cold and boring and nobody's watching and there is no feeling left to carry you.
You keep waiting for the mood to show up so you can begin.
It shows up after you begin. Always has.
And the argument you have with yourself at 6am β that argument is the failure. Decided things don't get debated.
Make it small enough that a bad day can't cancel it. Show up badly instead of not at all.
Do it enough times without the feeling and it stops being something you're attempting. It becomes who you are.
Save this for the morning you don't feel it.
Comment "DISCIPLINE" if you're going regardless.
