At the same time, Brikama Chairman Yankuba Darboe is calling on UDP supporters to storm the State House and remove President Barrow by force.

Make no mistake, these are not peaceful demonstrations. They are power-hungry cults trying to overturn the people’s mandate through street chaos and intimidation.

The UDP cultists are out there screaming “eba eba” (insulting his parents!), all because he dared tell Yankuba Darboe the truth. These people think they can insult anyone’s family, but the moment someone speaks fact and sense, they lose it.
They attack on Facebook with vile, cowardly slurs, hiding behind their keyboards because they can’t stand the truth.

UDP is pure poison for The Gambia and Yankuba Darboe just proved it.

This is the man who stood before a crowd and declared:

“If we vote, we should not wait for the IEC. Let’s go to the State House, install our father by force. If soldiers are there, we can sn**ch them. People’s power is what is going to change this country.”

This is a direct call for violence, insurrection, and chaos a threat to every Gambian’s peace and security.

UDP doesn’t believe in democracy they believe in force. They’d rather burn the nation to ashes than accept the people’s will if it doesn’t favor their “Supreme Leader.” Demi-God

Girigara, once a member of every major political party in the country, is now giving out misleading information, all in favor of the NPP, of which he is now a member after abandoning different political parties. We all know that Darboe and the UDP alone will not and cannot unseat Barrow, and there is little chance that major opposition parties will align with the UDP if Darboe is to lead.

The only winner in this case is the NPP, in a winner-takes-all scenario like in The Gambia. The only way to unseat a ruling party is through a joint coalition of major opposition political parties; without this, Barrow will win the next elections. I urge Darboe to step down and make way for the young leaders who will eventually bring all other parties together.
