It was first year of Master's College & Seminary and at Medeba bootcamp where Travis noticed Rhema with a black leather jacket and thought she was "too cool for everyone type" and cute. So Travis said, " I want to make you fall!" and proceeded to jump onto the spiderweb hammock Rhema was on. Rhema thought it was a jerk move of Travis, but was confused when Travis would ask everyone to engage in prayer afterwards.

Travis's plan to make Rhema fall twice worked. Falling emotionally as well as physically. Since then, Travis challenged Rhema to jump off a bridge in Peterborough and told her to see this act as an example of their life as Christians to look fear in the eye and conquering it, trusting in God.

Thank you Travis Annett Rhema Annett for allowing me to be party of your big day in a small way. I am humbled especially to see how you aim to give credit to God in every aspect of your relationship even at your wedding reception, this was the first time I ever witnessed a couple set time for musical worship at their reception. Continue to be bold and encourage others around you as you walk this new chapter in life!

"快樂就活活着" is a saying that would be found close by grandma's lips, a phrase she used often. I think it means be happy and you will jump up and down. Or if you don't hold onto things that are troublesome, you will likely be more happy, and therefore live a longer life. And a long life grandma had indeed! 93 years, 4 months, and 29 days. Grandma is the type of person who always think of others first rather than herself, and even when she does not have, she will give what she has away anyway. Quite selfless. But not without sass!

In 2016 I started praying to God that He might give me grace and mercy to see and spend time with grandma for longer than just a few weeks or only 1 or 2 months time before He calls her home. In late 2017, I receive news that I had won plane tickets for free to come to Hong Kong. In August of 2018, I finally was able to come to Hong Kong once again. By God's grace, I was given 10 months, and 9 days. Now grandma is in the enjoying presence of God because of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross for her sins and her reliance on that sacrifice.

I will miss the times of grandma saying my cooking is too bland and flavourless, I will miss her remarkable memory, I will miss having impluse ice cream runs together, and I will miss the evenings of simple prayer before bed and every night I ask her what "I love you" means, and she would respond by saying, "錫晒你啊媽。" You are right grandma. Thank you. See you in Heaven.

"To live each day genuinely." Was one of the phrases used to describe Christian. "Heart of gold" was one of the phrases used to describe Yumana. When asked to describe each other in three words, one of the overlapping words they used was, "heart".

To think HOW I actually came to know this couple is actually crazy and quite impossible if it were not for a miracle. In the past year, I came to Hong Kong via winning two free round trip plane tickets sponsored by Vitasoy-like this a normal thing that happens everyday, right!?!?- and was scheduled to return back to Toronto half a year later. By the grace of God, I was hired at a Character Development Academy where I met Yumana. I was definitely able to see a glimpse of that word, "heart" in the way she treated the students and other teachers. Two weeks before their big day, I received news that I was being let go of my job position and despite this, Yumana strived to help me be more confident in teaching children and gave me the reminder to seek what I can learn in relation to God through it all.

January14, before their big day, I had the privilege of meeting Christian for the first time to go together for a venue site visit where they would have their Wedding Ceremony. I was told to "be prepared" as Christian's personality can be "unfiltered" and I have heard Yumana's sharing of her first impression of Christian as, "arrogant".

On our way to the venue, Christian found out that I used to work in the funeral sector. I felt like our first meeting stuck a positive chord with me. I didn't have to "be prepared" for anything! HA!

From this, I was given an opportunity to do a sharing at one of Christian's lectures called "Introduction of Counseling and Therapeutic Psychology" at HKU.- THIS is also not an everyday thing that happens, where a random person is invited to speak at a University lecture right!??- Also from this, I could see Christian's care for his students and his determination to use what he has with excellence to bless and serve those around him as well as encouraging others to do the same.

As you guys walk this journey of life together, may you both be reminded of your vows that you made to each other. Thank you so much for having me be part of your big day in a small way.

"Here’s my wager. If you’re running after Christ and the way He has made you, that means you’ll be running in the circles of what God has called you to do. You’ll be a part of what God is doing on the earth. And perhaps in that mix, you’ll find someone running alongside you." -JS Park

I think this quote summarizes how Juliette and Norman met at Bible Study Fellowship. They were both starting out as new leaders for the fellowship, their focus on God and serving the local church community. Norman thought Juliette was very cute and "way out of his league". An opportunity of hope came one day when Juliette said, "Goodbye" to Norman and Norman thought to himself, "Hey! She knows I'm alive!" . However, Juliette did not notice Norman at all until.... he lead worship. Norman's amazing voice attracted Juliette to him.

In my brief interaction with Norman, I have seen his reputation among the church community as well as his willingness to submit himself under Biblical authority and surround himself with like minded brothers. I distinctly remembering on the wedding day, at the church, hearing in the background children calling his name, "Uncle Norman!", the way he interacted with the children made me think of one word and that would be, "Integrity." In my 4 years of having known Juliette, one word would be, "Genuine."

In all my editing up till today, I don't think I have ever had my eyes water as much.

May the two of you continue to humble yourselves as you walk toward Christ imperfectly.

Their story isn't perfect. But it is beautiful.
Fulbert and Cathy met years before their University years at Western but it was later at the university that their lives intersected again and decided to pursue a courting relationship. Fulbert really exemplified how a gentleman should treat a lady in a relationship. Being respectful of both his own parents, as well as Cathy's, Fulbert went to them with his clear intentions of pursing Cathy in a relationship heading towards marriage. From the beginning of their relationship, to their wedding day, it is quite clear that Cathy and Fulbert love Jesus as King and natually live out imperfect lives that show the love and teaching of Jesus in their decisions and relationships to those around them. Thank you for having me be part of your big day in a small way.

Fulbert's Mom shares a memory of first meeting Cathy during dinner at the Fu's residence prior to the begining of their dating relationship, and how she thought Cathy strange at first as it seemed like Cathy acted as if she was at her own home, picking up her dishes and washing them on her own. Cathy asked Papa Fu about his involvement in the local church community and this was when Cathy caught Mama Fu's attention as a girl who took God seriously.

Cathy's Dad recalls a movie about two characters that met and were interested in each other, exchanged numbers, but lost the numbers due to circumstances and therefore lost the opportunity to keep in touch. In the end, the characters find out they had actually been living next door to each other as neighbours the whole time. Reminding us that God is ultimately sovereign and knows our needs even before we take notice of them. As well, it is not enough to, "only love one another much" but to, "love the other more than you love yourself." With the goal of displaying Jesus to the world through this marriage relationship.

Growing up, Juliette hoped that one day her future husband would be able to sing and play guitar to her. On their wedding day, Norman did just that.

My ears were blessed. Juliette's ears were blessed. The Bridal party was blessed. Norman cried. Some in the audience cried. I didn't cry. Okay, maybe my eyes were a bit watery.

It has been two years since I did my first video for a wedding! Humbled. Here is the original edit from two years ago- beginner editing skills and all. Thankful to Jess and Matt for giving me this opportunity and being able to witness their big day.

"July 31st, I had the privilege of being part of Matt and Jess's wedding and using my phantom 3 standard to record this special day of theirs.

Their ceremony was actually set for 3PM of July 31st. But it was raining. I witnessed something that was almost like a movie. Matt (Groom and groomsmen prayed in the "Man cave" with their Pastor for their to-be newly wed lives and also for the wedding.) And the moment they finished their prayer, the rain quite literally stopped. This meant that the ceremony could continue outdoors as planned, and I was able to operate my phantom in good conditions. After the ceremony, rain actually came back again for a bit.
This was a good experience for me.

It started with 1-2-2-0. Paul first saw Sarah and he was captured by Sarah's beauty. Paul's critical thinking skills, and Sarah's organization compliment each other. Through a string of events, and great friends in their lives, they made their journey. From there, the rest was history. May the two of you remember the vows you have made to each other, Paul and Sarah!
