At The Roar Group of Companies 🇨🇦 - both the record label and publishing division - we operate on 3 core principles:
1. Whatever we created, it HAD to be content of substance - be it in word or in music - that LIFTED the human condition. That brought awareness or healing or joy. We knew we HAD to make a difference. And part of that difference was sharing Canadian voices that deserved to be heard!
2. We honestly believe that sharing our blessings brings more blessings ... and we are proud to support our writers, artists and musicians with the highest royalty share possible, at every opportunity. We also support those within the supply chain... hiring Canadian printers over cheaper off-shore options and record the vast majority of our songs here in Canada - hiring Canadian producers and studio musicians. We give BACK to local Canadian radio broadcasters, who continue to support indie music and publishing.
3. We LIVE by the words Ancora Imparo ... that I am always learning. Every. Single. Day. And we share our knowledge with others ... going back to point #2.
Over the past 24+ years, we've turned down projects that did not fit. We've parted ways with artists or writers with different visions...all ok. We are grateful they were part of our journey and continue to cheer them on.
And that's the secret in the sauce: There is ENOUGH for us all.

As we head into year 25 ... (year 13 for Roar Records Inc.) we say THANK YOU for being part of the journey... the highs, the lows and everything in between - the icky and the marvelous, the real and the remarkable world of Roar!
