It's all about the cake on this week's episode of the pod. That's because we're getting into birthday season at our house. The kids haven't decided what they want this year. Last year Eloise requested a pumpkin cake (second year running) and Annabelle wanted a flower cake. Their cakes keep getting more and more elaborate. So far this year Annabelle wants a tiger, and Eloise a puppy.

If you listened to this week's episode of Backstage at the Vinyl Cafe you'll have heard me talking a bit about Stuart and how he honed his craft over the years. One of the beauties of this podcast is that I've been able to go back and listen to stories from all different periods of Stuart's career. I've loved listening to how the performances evolved. But no matter when a story was recorded - in the early days, or later - I can tell you that Stuart really came into himself onstage. And he connected with the audience and loved that energy. Oh boy those concerts were fun!
