Sanford airport gets $14,000 for runway repairs

SANFORD - Sanford Seacoast Regional Airport has been awarded $14,000 to seal cracks in runway pavement from the Federal Aviation Administration. The award is part of a $2.2 million grant that will fund infrastructure upgrades at nine airports in Maine.

June 10 primary for York County Sheriff:

The pending retirement of York County Sheriff Maurice Ouellette has set off a three-way race for top cop in York County. Candidates William King, Dana Lajoie and Paul Main will be on the June 10 Democratic primary ballot. There are no Republican contenders for the post.

32 Seventh Graders from SJHS worked diligently all morning raking leaves, cleaning trash, and spreading mulch to prepare for the upcoming fence installation! It's really happening, folks! Let's keep the park clean....prepare to clean up after your dog!
