This closing was extra special. I have represented my client's grandfather over the years in home purchases. Last summer I helped his mother and father with a home purchase. Yesterday I closed on this renovated home for the third-generation grandson, a wonderful young man who is so excited to be living the American Dream of home ownership!! This is the story of a young couple wanting to purchase their first home. The home they wanted to see was out of reach as it was listed to only accept conventional loans. However, I called the listing agent and pleaded my case to let them see the home and make an offer. Not only did they put the home in contract with an FHA loan, but did not have to bring a penny to the closing, as they enrolled in a down payment assistance program and had Seller paid closing costs. The American Dream is alive and well!

What a whirlwind! I just listed a condo a 4363 Chateau Morse Drive on Wednesday, let showings continue through Friday, received nine offers, and one stood out above the rest and was accepted by my Sellers. It is a very tough time for Real Estate Agents to represent Buyers. It is very important to work with a real estate professional that knows how to write winning offers. My 39 years of experience in contract negotiations in representing both Buyers and Sellers has made dreams of home ownership a reality in this competitive market with such low inventory!

Two years ago I sold a condo to a gentleman that was moving here to be a principal dancer with Ballet Met. Yesterday, we closed on his first investment property. It already has tenants and is income producing at a profit. He is from Ukraine, here living the American Dream!

Four years ago I sold her home and found her this condo. This sweet woman loved her family, Elvis, and The Pittsburgh Steelers! She left this world and now the Matriarch of another family begins her chapter in this lovely home. This closing was bittersweet for me.

Six years ago I represented clients that purchased a home in Gahanna. They had a baby about nine months ago. Since their parents live in New Mexico and want to be closer to their new grandchild, I was able to close on this home this past Friday on another Gahanna home nearby. Now they can stay in town for extended periods of time! Family is everything!

Yesterday I closed my listing on 5285 Predmore Place in Westerville schools with Columbus taxes. This completes over a twenty-five-year history with my client. I believe that this is the sixth home that I have either listed or sold (or both) homes for my client, who has become a dear friend over the years. She is moving permanently to Florida now! However, she and her husband still have a business and family here and will be back here traveling in their future purchase of an RV!
