TORNADO WATCH 353 IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM EDT. ALL OF WESTERN MA IS NOW INCLUDED IN THE TORNADO WACTH. THIS MEANS CONDITIONS ARE PRESENT TO ALLOW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS TO POSSIBLY PRODUCE TORNADIC ACTIVITY.

A warm front lifting through the region brings a period of humid and unsettled weather Thursday. Expecting two rounds of rainfall, the first, a round of showers in the morning followed by a chance of strong to severe thunderstorms later in the afternoon. The strength and coverage of severe weather depends on the amount of instability and clearing during the afternoon.
