The people you’re trying to impress don’t pay your bills.
That friend who’s watching your stories but never engages?
That cousin who thinks your business is a joke?
That ex you’re silently competing with?
They don’t pay your rent.
They don’t send clients your way.
They don’t fund your growth.
So why are you still shaping your life to please them?
Too many people are:
– Holding back on content because they’re afraid of “what people will say.”
– Undervaluing their offers just to avoid sounding “too expensive.”
– Playing small to stay relatable.
Let me say it clearly:
The people you’re trying to impress are not your audience.
And they are definitely not your customers.
Your bills are real.
Your goals are valid.
Your time is expensive.
Build for impact.
Not for claps.
