Happy Holidays everyone!! This year has been a challenge for live events and DJing for people. Continue to explore new music, rediscover songs of familiar musicians, and especially listen to music that is from other cultures and ethnic groups. The more music you know the better life is!!

Apple started 2015 with discontinuing the "Free Music" section of their business. Many outcries later, it was brought back around the end of January or sometime in February. Now you can download new artists' music, 10 or so tracks every week. Tuesday is when they release new music including the free music.

My music library continues to grow and grow...just surpassed 47,000 songs with an imported CD, "The Innocents" by Erasure. It may be sometime in 2015 that I get to 50,000 songs and what a milestone that will be.

Just surpassed 46,000 songs in my song library, thanks to the RENT (Original Broadway Cast Recording) Soundtrack 2CD album. On the way to 50,000 by the end of the year!

I purchase all of my music, so this is an actual accomplishment. Whereas I've met other DJs who boast about having 1TB of music or over a 100,000-250,000 song library--that's not all purchased, it's pirated/stolen and yet they use it to profit for their own business.
