One of my clients was asked yesterday by his neighbor if he had any camera footage of his truck being stolen the night before. I'm very excited to be instrumental in the likely prosecution of some car thieves in Huntington Beach, I had installed a Digital Watchdog camera system (Complete with License Plate Capture camera). I believe there is enough evidence delivered to the HBPD to arrest the thieves.

The last 12 years my work has predominantly involved building and maintaining Dish based TV systems for a major Bank. My territory includes all of Southern California and out to Las Vegas for any offices, especially in High Rises.
That’s a lot of cabling, hanging and moving TVs and coordinating with property managers. It’s definitely a lot of driving and I'm well compensated for those miles.
When I’m not doing “Bank Jobs”, I’m available, in a much smaller area around Westminster, CA for virtually any kind of Satellite or TV antenna work, Home Theater, CCTV or just to help with the technology gap.
One area I like to make myself available is Satellite Dish removals. The Dish companies will not come to remove your old dish and AT&T (DirecTV) won’t even set foot on a roof. Last week I got a call from a Property Manager asking me to come and help them AFTER their roofer had thrown some of their satellite dishes off the roof and they needed to reconnect some of their resident' dishes who had been without service for 3-5 days. This week I am checking dishes on roofs of another association with 41 buildings to see if they are currently in use or not so that I can give them a quote to remove the unused dishes prior to property improvements. Which Property management is doing the right thing? Give me a call BEFORE you have a problem!

2020 has started off with some good projects and has me busy enough to shut down all paid advertising.

Summer of 2019 has been no vacation. Mostly being busy doing commercial work for my best Commercial source of work “Nexgenav”. Building, & servicing Dish based TV systems and wearing many hats, servicing a major Bank chain between San Diego-Santa Barbara-Bakersfield. Also rebuilding DirecTV based TV systems fo “Allbridge”.
In between, I’m still maintaining my residential customer base installing custom home theaters and providing DirecTV to those that need a professional that can set foot on their roof.
I also still do dish removal for locals in need.

I had to get by this seagulls nest several times in order to solve a problem. Each time, my path was climbing over spanish tiles 2’ from her nest. As she yelled, others came to protect. Any time I started walking away I would get dive bombed by her security squad.

I installed this Birdview 8.5’ dish back in 1984. The owner has since moved on. So, in the midst of trying to resolve the estate, I took this down to the concrete today and disposed of it like an old typewriter. Except it weighed WAY more.

I received a call today from someone that may have waited too long to remove their old C-Band dish. Apparently the pole rusted and broke at the bottom and the brace that held it to the eaves broke free and the whole thing was hanging by the cables that once brought signal to the house. He has since got one rope tied around it. In this case, I recommended he call a crane company ASAP due to the liability and the storm coming tomorrow. Let's hope they can handle a controlled descent or the dish and pole before someone gets hurt or something gets damaged. And if you still have a big dish, please check the base where it goes into the ground to make sure it's not rusted through or that your eaves are not rotted. This is a disaster in progress.

The rainstorm today in Southern California just became remarkable as it is heavy and windy enough that even our DirecTV is knocked out. We shall see if it is just heavy cloud cover or if the wind and rain has actually moved the dish.
