Damaging winds upwards of 65 mph are the primary threat. A tornado or two cannot be ruled out.

Heads up! Thunderstorms are possible across parts of the Great Plains on Saturday. Some could be severe, but the greatest risk for severe weather is west of our area.

We’re watching the possibility of storms between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Some locations may stay dry, while others could see severe weather. The better chances for storm development appear to be along and south of I-70.

If the storms develop in our coverage area, some storms could produce hail and damaging winds. But the greatest severe weather risk will be off to the southeast.
