I was appreciating the “less is more” approach in my Intermediate Method, working with my student, Ben, today. Short pieces mean we can concentrate on some tasty details. Today we were making a game of how smooth we could get the penciled in slurs. And also, how round and clean we could get the staccato quarter notes at the end of the first and third lines. Doing this in the context of a tune for technique makes it all the more relevant and fun, as we build momentum and enjoyment going through the book!

The finished version of Volume 2 is now available. I had been using a "Rough Draft Edition" for along time.
