One Love, One Jamaica How You Can Help After Hurricane Melissa

On October 28, Hurricane Melissa made landfall in Jamaica as a Category 5 storm—the strongest hurricane ever recorded to strike the island. The devastation has been catastrophic. Nearly 1.9 million people have been affected, with thousands displaced from their homes. In St. Elizabeth Parish, an estimated 90% of homes were destroyed, and much of the island remains without power. For many Broward County residents with ties to Jamaica—whether through family, heritage, or simply a love for the island—the images of destruction have been heartbreaking....

The free concert will be held at the Town Center Park Amphitheater at 5:00 pm on Saturday, December 13, 2025. For all my fellow Mah Jongg lovers, I pulled together some of the things I use (and love!) that make our games a little more fun, a little more organized, and definitely more stylish.

From pretty tile sets and noise-reducing mats to the cutest blue Chinoiserie card sleeves, plus my favorite Mahj tote and those great cordless lamps that light up the tiles perfectly… It's all here. I even added the gold side table I use to rest my “game-night” glass of wine. 😉
