I have been chasing this shot for about two years now, finally all the conditions were just right. We were out driving in Delaware and I’m always looking at the crop irrigation to try and catch a rainbow ,most of the time they aren’t turned on and other times the sun isn’t in the correct position to reflex in the spray . Today was that day 😀

Tonight’s A bit of color challenge is at the beach here in Assateaque MD . I’m starting to see everyone getting ready for the next holiday on July 4th , everyone is wearing their red ,white and blue outfits, homes are decorated with pride of our country’s colors .Me I’ll be getting Medicare from our government that day as I turn 65 . Scott and the boys will be playing at the yacht club that evening so I’ll be enjoying that as well . I’ve always loved having my birthday on the fourth ,celebrations all around I always thought it was neat having my birthday the same day as our country’s birthday. No matter how wrong things seem to be, we still have a beautiful country and people who live here ,sometimes you may have to look a bit harder to see it , but God’s love and beauty are still all around us. Blessings to you all 🥰

This is tonight’s a bit of color challenge , these two cuteness over loads I spotted tied up on a fence by the road . I imagine the farmer was mowing their area , I hope so anyway I thought it strange they were there , they were such good little subjects, this has turned out to be one of my top ten favorite photos I’ve taken .

I’m still working on the black and white challenge from my Facebook friend Arsenal Malfunction. This was taken while driving across one of those road bridges that go across small bodies of water or bogs or creeks , they are actually my favorite places to grab a photo in any season . If we look hard enough we can see beautiful places in the most obscure spots. The birch in the back ground here and other places took a real hit when a hurricane came through and wrecked the marshes and such bringing in saltwater to make the water brackish, which doesn’t support the birch and other plants that depend on fresh water .

This picture was taken on Smith Island MD , my husband Scott is from Smith Island , such a beautiful place and wonderful people . Imagine having to have everything boated in or out , Thats the only way there .This is a picture of a work boat , the watermen work extremely hard to provide for their families and provide the delicious crabs , oysters, and some fish we all enjoy. Thank you also to all who have served and our serving our great country, thank you for our freedom and protecting us . 🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷 Happy Memorial Day.
