We had an unforgettable experience producing this piece on bottom fishing in Westport for Experience Westport and Visit Grays Harbor. We had a picture-perfect day on the water with the best crew of people. Shoutout to Eric and Jake of Ocean Sportfishing Charters for going above and beyond to ensure we had a fun day and putting us on some big fish! Seriously, check out those monster lingcods! Westport's 2024 fishing season opens today, and we highly recommend going on the best grocery run ever!

We've been fortunate to handle the tourism marketing for Westport, WA, for the last three years, and through our work here, we've met some exceptional people. This year, we had the idea to create human interest videos to build a connection to Westport through local stories and promote winter tourism through their experiences.

Westport has several incredible people doing amazing things for the community, many of whom you will never hear about. They don't do it for the recognition. It's genuine and authentic. Getting these angels to share their stories is challenging because most want to fly under the radar.

We are so grateful for the time we spent with Marianne and Jeff and that they trusted us to tell their Westport story; it means a lot. I love how many similarities we share in our love of Westport, and there's even a surprise connection to Michigan and Switzerland. As always, Greg has an innate ability to bring our ideas to life, and he's such a thoughtful storyteller. I love this piece, and these people, and I hope you will take the time to watch it.

We captured the world-famous Ralph during our recent photo session at Cain Lake Stables. No one loves Ralphie more than Ralph. He’s the self-proclaimed “Most interesting goat of the year 2022” (and every other year prior) and an up-and-coming social media influencer. Watch out, world, here he comes!

As the moon rose and the sun began to set, we pulled up to the Garden of Eden in Arches National Park as Erik Misiak was summiting his third tower of the day, The Devil’s Golfball. We watched in awe as Erik and his climbing partner, Jacob Estabrook, seemingly effortlessly climbed the tower, summited, and celebrated their accomplishments lit only by the full rising moon. It was an incredible moment to witness and the perfect start to our time in Utah!

We were stoked to chat with Erik and learned that Erik had created a challenge for himself eight years ago to climb 30 desert towers before his 30th birthday. With only three weeks left, seven summits ahead, and winter closing in, he finished the challenge with four days to spare! It was an 8-year journey that Erik says wouldn’t have been possible without his incredible friends and partners along the way. We feel fortunate to be able to witness and capture a small part of his epic journey.

Today we opted to capture the coastline as Westport, WA braced against the first big storm of 2021. We wanted to document the toll these storms are taking on our beaches and precious dunes. Also, to show you why it's essential to stay off the beaches during high tide and large swells. Always be aware and be safe out there. King tides start tomorrow through Wednesday.
