My Background
I have been a licensed realtor in Kansas and Missouri since 2000. My personal goal is to resurrect the dying art of customer service. I don’t want to just get the job done, I want to knock it out of the park. I form a lasting relationships with my clients and even after close, I am always available to answer questions and provide sound advice regarding real estate.
In Real Estate: Since moving to the Kansas City area in 1994, I have always lived in, and taken special interest in, the Central Corridor; especially the older homes of Prairie Village, Brookside, Westwood, Mission, Roeland Park, and Leawood. I have helped renovate over a dozen older homes in the past 15 years. Each home came with a new set of problems and by working through those issues, I’ve learned to spot some of the potential pitfalls before my clients waste their time and money on inspections. I work hard to find quality homes for my buyers and advise my sellers on repairs and/or updates that will yield higher results. I never shy away from a challenge and strive to make sure my clients have a smooth, informed, and successful transaction.
Accolades: I was nominated for Rookie of the year for the Central Corridor in 2001. I am a four time member of the “Million Dollar Club” for volume of sales closed in one month and average between five and six million in closed volume each year. I am licensed in both Kansas and Missouri and will soon be licensed in North Carolina. I served as the Secretary for the Romanelli Gardens HOA from 2000-2003. I was an active member of the Prairie Elementary PTA from 2005-2013 and was the Lead Room Mom for Prairie Elementary in 2012-13.
A little about me: I grew up in the small town of Chanute, Kansas, but I have lived in Kansas City the majority of my life and affectionately call it home. I spend my free time with my family and enjoy a quiet life in Prairie Village. I love running, biking, and shopping, but most of all – cooking! When I”m not working or hanging out with my kids, you’ll find me whipping up some brownies or following along with the Food Network. I am the proud mom of two spunky whippets and am a huge animal lover.
