We delivered The Country Doctor right before Christmas, intended as a Christmas gift for friends and family of the author. It's a historical account of the life of the physician who opened what is today Tidal Health (PRMC) and the Pine Bluff Sanitorium which we know today as Coastal Hospice at the Lake. A very interesting glimpse into his life and the role of the real country doctor in the late 1800s and early 1900s in Salisbury.

The Delmarva Unleashed cover call for our annual fundraising calendar is underway on that page. Last year over 1100 dogs participated in the contest. Check it out!

COVER CALL for the Delmarva Unleashed 2021 Annual Fundraising Calendar! We have decided to move forward with our annual calendar shoot. The date will be Sunday, June 28th at Stinky Beach, West Ocean City. Shooting will begin at 6:30 am and time slots will be assigned, wrapping up by 10:00 am.
Due to COVID-19 and Social Distancing, we will not be doing group dog shots this year. We are going to ask that you hand your dog to our "handler" and of course you can watch near-by. We will ask that you wait in your car until you are called and that sibling dogs remain in the vehicle too. Any sibling dogs photographed this year will be at the sole discretion of the publisher; we hope you understand. If it were us, we would want siblings to have a photo too since it's a professional shot and if you have attended you know we try to make that happen, however, it simply depends on the number of people in the area and our ability to prevent a bottleneck in the small parking area.

Would you like for your dog to have a chance to be in the 2021 calendar? Simply post your dog's best photos on this feed for consideration. To increase your chances of being chosen, please show us your dog's full body (we look for a mix of colors and sizes) and a nice headshot (that helps us determine your dog's photographic characteristics. 15 dogs will be invited to the shoot Wednesday, June 3 and a shortlist will be announced at that time. Dogs not confirmed by June 4th, close of business (5:00pm), will forfeit their invite, and dogs waiting on the shortlist will be extended invites in the order they appear on the list Friday morning June 5th. Time slots will be assigned when pet parents confirm by PM.

All images submitted for consideration will be authorized for full use by GLM in any of our publications. Compensation will be in the form of photo credit only. Photographer will retain full rights beyond use in our publications. Photo credits must be stated with image submission. Images can be emailed to [email protected]. Images will be accepted until Dec. 31 of 2017. Inside travel guides reach millions of visitors each year. It's outstanding exposure for your work!
