* WHAT...North winds up to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Texas.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around light and unsecured objects
such as Christmas decorations. Weak and/or small tree limbs could
be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

A strong cold front will move across southeast Texas this evening and off the coast around midnight. Expect strong, gusty north winds and much cooler temps overnight/Monday. Scattered light showers are expected tonight. Gale conditions will develop over the marine waters.

HREATBREAKING | We stand with him’: Houston Police Union pays respect to former KPRC 2 reporter Jake Reiner after Rob Reiner’s death

KPRC2 - Our thoughts and prayers are with Jake Reiner and his family during this incredibly difficult time.
During his years as a Houston news anchor (KPRC2), Jake was a true friend to the men and women of the Houston Police Department. He treated our officers with fairness, professionalism, and respect, and he consistently gave law enforcement a voice when it mattered.
We are grateful for the way he supported this profession and this city, and we stand with him and his family now."

Rob Reiner, 78, and his wife, 68-year-old Michele Singer, were found dead in his Brentwood home after being fatally stabbed. The couple’s middle son, Nick Reiner, has been arrested in connection with the crimes.
