FORT BEND COUNTY!!!
.A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN FORT BEND COUNTY THROUGH 730 PM CDT...

At 658 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Pleak, or near Rosenberg, moving south at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Rosenberg, Richmond, Pecan Grove, Needville, Pleak, Fairchilds, Beasley, Kendleton, and Cumings.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

the Azores is producing limited showers and thunderstorms.
Upper-level winds are only marginally conducive for development

7/24 Heavy thunderstorms on the northern side of this Gulf disturbance are crossing the area. Will continue to monitor.

There is low potential for minor ice accumulations for portions of the Brazos Valley on Saturday morning. This could create hazardous travel conditions on elevated surfaces if this conditional threat comes to fruition.
