We recently got an eyewitness update on the fire, and the caller informed us that what appeared to be a DC-10 (not confirmed aircraft type) dropped retardant over the fire around 3:30 pm or so this afternoon. Hopefully the fire and smoke will be quickly contained and extinguished very soon.
Will confirm with rural fire departments. Please stay away from the area so firefighters and other agencies can do their dangerous jobs!

Hardworking community that comes together for the good things!

A big Shout out to the Sybille Livestock 4H group and all they did for us at our picnic. From beginning to end the service was awesome and always with a smile. So nice to see different generations sharing stories. Help us say Thank You to Emily, Elias, Evelynn, Erin, Titus and Greer under the direction of Angie, Sharon, and Katie
