This workshop is regarding the impact assistance request to be submitted to the Industrial Siting Council. Please attend if you have considerations for the Town Council regarding financial considerations of the impact of the proposed Wind project. As always, the public is welcome to observe even if no input is to be given.

The Platte County Record-Times counted 66 people from several different counties at tonight's Town Hall hosted by the Town of Chugwater, Wyoming - Government and Mayor Josh Hopkins. There were individuals from Platte, Goshen, Laramie, Sheridan, Albany, Carbon, Natrona and Niobrara counties where wind projects currently are and where they are being proposed to go.

Several concerns and questions came up, which will be featured in an upcoming edition.

A big thank you to Mayor Hopkins for graciously opening up the doors at the Chugwater Community Center for hosting this Town Hall relating to the proposed NextEra wind and solar project. He seeks to be the conduit to get answers to some tough questions and concerns before the county makes its decision.

Thank you to Wyoming Secretary of State Chuck Gray for attending and speaking to the residents and listening to the concerns.

If you still have questions or concerns, you still have time to contact the Record-Times with those as we continue to seek to get those addressed as well.

Thank you Platte County for being engaged in this process! We have the best community ever!

What are some of your most memorable moments being a Wyomingite and what are some of the best kept secrets of Wyoming and Platte County?

Hello Platte County community -- if you are a Wheat Producer and have already or will be cutting Wheat earlier, could you please reach out to us? We've noticed and heard several are cutting early and are wondering what reasons our Producers are cutting early.

Thanks!
