Based out of Populist Recording & Mastering in the western s

uburbs of Chicago, Scott and Milligan have worked in every genre from gentle acoustic folk to extreme metal, but they have become mainstays in the production of industrial rock and psych rock. Joy Thieves Productions is actively embracing the massive changes that have happened in the world of music production by catering to the NEW needs of modern musicians. We specialize in high end audio production, including mixing/mastering/remixing services, supplemental instrumentation, and more…all done remotely. After spending the last year tirelessly working on our album American Parasite, we were in the mood to do something lighthearted, spontaneous and fun. And because we have a tendency to do whatever the hell we want to do, whenever the hell we want to do it...that's exactly what we did! The Joy Thieves' cover of Shriekback's classic song, Nemesis, is out today on Armalyte Industries...and it's ABSOLUTELY FREE!

Powerhouses Chris Connelly and Ania Tarnowska of I Ya Toyah are the vocalists on Nemesis, and this digital-only single features remixes by John Norten of Blue Eyed Christ, Wandering Stars, and SapphiraVee. (One of the remixes even features our friend Carl Marsh of Shriekback!)
