Here is a wee sample of my illustrations from my forthcoming Jane Austen book, Wisdom and Worldliness.

Here we have Cassandra Austen and Captain Tremayne about to share a kiss snuck behind the Conservatory’s largest palm. Walter’s father, rather impressively, has his very own Pineapple -Pine House and so he has Jane’s seal of approval. Also, who doesn’t love a man in uniform? Will it last? You’ll have to wait to find out!

I popped my illustration and poem in the fold of the book so the reader can make them kiss when they close it. I am a little bit in love with myself for this idea but kudos to my coauthor, Christine West, for her inspirational manuscript.

A couple of the newest designs to my manicule collection. I really want to make some of them with a 60’s/70’s vibe. I’m very aware that when the new Beatles biopic comes out in a couple of years, there will be a surge of nostalgia for that era.
