Ah, the memories...
Here’s a look at a couple of our trucks—past and present. ARCTEK GREEN, our 2005 Sprinter, and what it evolved into just two years later. GREEN served us well for nearly a decade, but in 2021 we officially retired it when ARCTEK GRAY came online.
Over the past four years, we’ve completed four truck transitions, but the shift from GREEN to GRAY was one of our most extensive to date. The legacy gear in GREEN was mostly obsolete—GRAY wasn’t just an upgrade; it was a complete rebuild from the ground up.
Where GREEN ran 2 encoders and 2 modulators with 100-watt amps, GRAY now boasts:
* 14 encoders
* 1080p HDR encoding and monitoring
* 4 modulators
* 400-watt amps
