Ahhhh! I loved doing this one! My client had just turned 18 and wanted her first tattoo on her lower abdomen. Such a trooper cause I’d definitely be too chicken to get my first tattoo there!! 😹

Can’t wait to see how soft and light this tat heals!

I’m not only practicing shading, I’m mainly practicing on my patience and letting the tattoo bloom into existence.

One thing when it comes to sitting with a canvas that will take a few hours is that once it starts taking a physical toll on us and we start getting impatient, the tattoo becomes compromised. I don’t ever want my clients to leave feeling as though they didn’t receive what they paid for.

& If you don’t have latex to peace with real needles, pen and paper is just as good to practice your strokes, line work, and shading. Practice is essential ❤️
