The Creek Wood High School boys' basketball team made local history last week by notching their first-ever State Tournament win, defeating Red Bank 50-34. Since Creek Wood opened 22 years ago, the boys' basketball team has reached State only one other time (2015). Congratulations to every member of the team for making this town so proud -- especially to the graduating seniors!
Though the Red Hawks fell in the second round of the tournament to Ridgeway, the future looks bright for the Creek Wood squad. The William James Middle School team was recently honored by The Town of White Bluff for their spectacular season as well -- and many of those players could wind up playing for Creek Wood in the years to come.
